Is it more effective to be feeding my horse more grain to put some weight on or should I be feeding him more hay?

An balance combination of the two is highly recommended. If suggest you tell us what breed of horse will you implement these hay or grain diet?

Also the size of the horse is one of the factor in feeding your horse. Check you're regular vet for tips in proper horse care. You might accidentally over fed or under fed your horse. There are different types of horses with varying needs, that is why I asked you earlier because this is truly essential.

It seems like I might be over feeding my horse. I'm going to consult my vet to see about my situation. I just never thought I was feeding him too much but he seems to be getting fatter and fatter.
