Try your luck with online shoping like ebay or amazon. Horse riding is a rare sport / activity for filipino. Only well off families could afford them so I don't there are near equine dedicated shop around there

There is horse back riding place in Tagaytay. Try there. I do not know if they offer classes, maybe you can check out. By the way it is a zoo, it is called Paradizoo. Here is how to get there:To get to Paradizoo, just take the main road from Tagaytay Rotonda going to Batangas. After passing Mendez market, watch out for the Paradiso sign on the right. From that corner, it’s a 10 minute drive on a dirt road which will lead you all the way to Paradizoo. Entrance Fee to Paradizoo is P199/person. Golf Cart rental is P100, horse back riding cost P25.

I tried horseback riding somewhere in Tagaytay. That place if I'm not mistaken have their horse rented for I think 50 pesos. For a few minutes you can ride the horse, it is fun considering I was a kid then but when I look back I cant help but laugh at the thought of my horse riding experience. Whenever I looked back at that cute moment, I can even remember how my buttocks felt sitting at a hard unsteady saddle. :0

Would you really opt for a horse riding school or are you flexible for any other option? How about you organizing lessons with a home trainer who would charge you far much less? I do agree that horse riding is considered sort of a recreational sport so few households would embrace the art.Just wondering, how would e-bay and amazon be able to solve such a fix?
yeah, I had the same experience as Zeria's. My whole body aches after the ride that I cant even move. But the whole riding experiences was oh so great. I am planning for my next visit together with my husband and kids sometime this coming December where the height of people visiting the place is in its peak. I love going to places with lots of different people. Hope you guys can check that place also.

You can look for leads while at Manila. It will be easier dealing with things while on the geound. Ask around and I am quite sure you will get valuable directions.Horse riding experiences will be interesting if you are eager to learn and persevere. If you normally easily freak out, then the first few days will be enough to discourage you. When you get used to this, it will be your favorite All the best as you search.

If your in the site you can always ask for information on where you could go horseback riding, there are lots somewhere in Tagaytay I think, that place is much closer to Manila than to go for Baguio, another wonderful place to go for a horse ride. However, if you want to be sure on where to go, the net will never fail you on your search. Good luck on your horse riding.

Maybe you should ask some folk at the nearest race tracks in you place. I know there's one in Sta. Ana Manila, (been there to actually bet but I didn't won). But if you're looking for equine riding then good luck. these are often just exclusive on private ranches.
Yes, you re right on that matter, private ranches may offer horse back riding and will also require you to pay a certain amount of money, well if you are that decided you won't even care about any amount of fees, right? But i have to agree with Berry, with just less than a hundred pesos i think you can try horse back riding in Tagaytay City. You can also do some sight seeing.

Horse riding is the first traditional human activity. For a long time horses were a basic part of human experience. I wouldn´t imagine the Phillipines without horses. I think all you have to do is get a phone book and search. Or, of course, the net is bound to have a lot of info.Best wishes and good luck!

I love to ride horses, but I am very far from owning my very own champion at the moment. How I long for the day to arrive, but I do have patience, therefore, I will wait until the time is absolutely appropriate.

Dogs are also my fancy, by the way, are there any pure bred bull mastiff sellers that are willing to ship to the Caribbean?
Yes, I must say that horseback riding in the Philippines is exclusive to some ranches and resorts in the country. However, there are also some spots in the country that offers horseback riding for the public, charging them with reasonable amount. But, i suggest that you go for private ranches, they are worth it. All in all, those must see and must tries in the Philippines are plenty, including of course horseback riding.

What I have noticed in the Philippines is that you could ride horses when:-You are some park in Baguio, they charge about a hundred pesos for an hour horse back. -You are in some place in Tagaytay, a lot like in Baguio -You are in Manila, also in parks with the horse carriage what they call Kalesa, charges a lot actually for a short ride. Mostly on cold places but generally in parks and usually kids ride them.
That is right Aaron, you seem to know a lot about the Philippines huh, as of me, I had tried riding horses in Baguio city when I visited the country two years I go, the place is great and the people there are nice and warm. Is Baguio still the same? I wonder if I can be able to come back in that place again. Have a good day everyone!
I bet it is still the same, but I have heard that part of the place is not that good anymore. You can see that the pine trees there is not that plenty as before, some part of the famous rice terraces also has been abandoned for some reasons I do not know also. But anyway, there are still lots of must see and do there so plan your next visit.

"El Kabayo Ridinig Stables Clark Pampanga"
Am surprised that nobody mentioned the riding stables at Clark. Lessons, guided tours around the park, solo riding for experienced riders. For the ultimate thrill, trail rides going through Secobia river up the hills and down through the local villages. These rides ranges from simple walks for the novice to the advance rides with lot's of cantering and galloping. Nature rides at its best!

"horse riding within manila"
hi chito. aside from pook ligaya, there's also a small riding school in Marikina. Last time I was there, it was mang Antipolo who holds the classes. its inside the rancho villages. Its quite small though. Manny Angeles also has a riding farm in antipolo. 100 hectares na private property with arena for lessons and long trails for leisure rides.

"El Kabayo Stables"
Hi All, I have been to the El Kabayo stables at Clarke and at Subic. Both were great rides. Very friendly staff and nice, clean horses. The waterfalls at Subic that is included in the trail ride is a must see.

"Philippines, Horseback Riding Lessons; horseback riding,"
El Kabayo in Pampanga has always been the best stables around. I have done a package of the mountain trails with them and it was conducted very well indeed. The stable owner Mr.Gabby has been friendly and was very accomodative to me. I have also tried the subic El Kabayo and it was fun too. As a horse owner in Malaysia, this sports should be part of the itinerary if foreigners are coming to Philippines. I am also very excited to be of this coming November Horse Fest 10 at Pampanga and hope to meet with more riders. • Page 1 (Original Post) •
