Rodeo is a kind of sport involving horses and livestock in which the skill and speed of the cowboy or cowgirl is tested. It has its history from the working practices of cattle herders in certain countries. Though it has received stiff opposition from animal rights and animal welfare organizations who have accused it of being a form of cruelty, it still remains a popular sport. How often are they held in WV?
